Lydia Joan Croteau grew up in Oakland, Rhode Island, and graduated from Burrillville High School. Years later, she took an evening course, creative writing, just for fun, and it piqued her interest. At 72, she decided to get serious about writing and ventured into a fantasy land; henceforth, this book was born.
